Free talk

If you’re in your 40s and feel like food, energy and mood don’t work the way they used to, you’re not imagining it.
Perimenopause brings hormonal changes that can affect how your body responds to food, stress and routine. Many women notice increased fatigue, unpredictable energy, stronger cravings, disrupted sleep and a growing sense of confusion around what to eat, even when they feel they’re “doing the right things”.
This free 45-minute online talk focuses on one often-overlooked foundation: blood sugar balance, and why it plays such an important role in energy, mood, cravings and long-lasting nutrition habits during perimenopause.
This is not a diet talk. There will be no calorie counting, food rules or extreme restriction.
Instead, Jo will explain:
-
Why nothing feels balanced in perimenopause
-
How blood sugar affects hormones, energy and cravings
-
Why dieting and restriction often backfire in midlife
-
Where to start if you want calm, realistic, sustainable habits
The aim of this session is to help things make sense, reduce self-blame and offer a steadier, more supportive way forward that fits real life.
There will be time for questions at the end.
Date: Wednesday 4 February
Time: 8pm (UK)
Where: Live on Zoom Duration: 45 minutes plus Q&A
Cost: Free
This talk is ideal for women who are navigating perimenopause, are tired of starting over with food, and want to move away from diet culture towards a more sustainable, “forever” way of eating.
